I have been putting off reading this book because booktok has hyped up books that I didn't end up having a great time with, BUT I am reallyyy enjoying this so far.
The "Hi, Iris" from Kitt?! kicking my feet (the narrators for the audiobook are amazing)

Holy shit. This book's got me hook line and sinker. I'm only on chapter one yet this thing has me on the edge of my seat. Can't wait to see what's to come.

absolutely floored by the painstaking research put into the worldbuilding. i can honestly say that i have never read anything like the magic system in this book.
