I completely lost interest since the moment I started reading the prologue! There was something about the writing style that made me think I was reading a (bad) children’s book. And then decided I was done the next chapter I read that the MMC had a tail, that’s not my thing at all. I’m also not interested in reading about political themes and an enemy to lovers plot (if u can call this book that) when the main characters are 17-18 years old. It completely pulls me out of the story.

I have automatically lost respect for anyone that has recommended me to read this book, or that has stated that they enjoyed it. I refuse to believe that there are people out there walking among us, being part of our society, who read this book and were not disgusted by it and its themes. A book that seems as if it was written by a woman in order to satisfy men’s porn fantasies, and is apparently, unbelievably, enjoyed by other women. We have to do better by making anyone who likes this book embarrassed enough to never say that horrendous fact out loud!!
