Sat down and actually finished the remaining 200 pages in 5 hours (thatās a new record for me) because I had to know whatās going on and OF COURSE the killer was OBVIOUS, hindsight is 20/20 after all, and I do wear prescription glasses š¤. Iām so mad I didnāt see this coming but I do need to get a new pair of glasses. No spoilers here, just saying that I enjoyed the writing, every page, every chapter ending got me hooked, that I can give this book. As for the plot. Yeah, now I get it where the hate comes from. At first I wasnāt sure because true crime enthusiasts exploit unsolved cases all the time, thatās not anything new, but now I see it. It was distasteful. So although I really enjoyed her other book In My Sleep I Hold A Knife, and in this one, the writing was good, she made a big āhuhā¦.ā with this one. š«©

What is your ideal reading environment? Do you go to a library or a cafe? Do you read at home in a book nook or in bed late at night with a nice cup of tea?
Edit - Everyone is adding such gorgeous anecdotes and environments they love reading in so much thank you so much and also GOD I NEED A CAT
