Ah yes. The autistic urge to pop out one’s eyes with a spoon. Relatable?

hey lovely people! as it says in the title, I'd love to know what your favourite LGBT+ book couples are. they can be side characters, from old or new books, from graphic novels or manga, from non-romance books, I don't mind! for context, I'm very much a sucker for a good romantic plotline, and I'd love to expand my horizons beyond the 20 or so queer books that I see recommended regularly. no shade to those popular books, of course, but I'd love to know what your personal favourites are!! :)

I love Joan He’s writing! Hesina is a great main character too, she is very strong, but also very naive (I love that she actually has traits that hinder her) The book is a great read, a magical asian-inspired fantasy. What I did not like is the ending (more like I don’t like that there isn’t a sequel 😂) and some of the characters felt a bit lacking to me.

the only reason i'm making it through this book rn is bc i'm buddy-reading it with a friend. there's no rhyme or reason to the diacritics, the translations are either awkward, weird, or make no sense, and the attempts to write poems inspired by tang poems read nothing like actual chinese poems. don't even get me started on the writing style or the characterisation lol
