Just on the first page we got a quote from George Orwell William Blake and David Hume about manipulation and truth. I haven't even started the book yet and Suzanne Collins already has me enraged at the REAL world. This is going to be a wild ride, and I am all for it!

There is no comparison with how magical the movie is, but I dont know what we would've done if we had never gotten Todd's lost poem. Indeed, I will be rereading this every month from now on, just like with the movie! Although, it was maybe too fast-paced at times and some great original scenes were erased, this piece of art will never not warm my heart and bring tears to my eyes ❤️🍁

The writing is quite blunt and feels like a recount. While I don't fully understand the setting, it doesn't spark any curiosity yet. I hope it gets better...

I’m just curious! I have been mainly on my phone but I’m now wondering if I should start on my computer because I find myself scrolling here so much lately and my screen time is crazy haha

A very insightful and short read commenting on society's banal worries and how they ultimately fall apart in the time of death, very recommandable!!

I just opened a book that I got from a used book sale last year and it had a leaflet about some weird medicine in it? So random, why would someone use that as a bookmark? And to then give the book away too?? I'm baffled. One library book I read a few years back had a sticky note message on the back cover and whoever wrote it seemed to have left the rest of the sticky note pad in the book as well. I've also seen my fair share of random bookmarks. A few weeks ago I found one that was covered in Olivia Roderigo stickers lol 😂
I'd love to hear from y'all tho. What's the weirdest thing you've ever found in a book?

Everyone has a favourite genre but what is your niche in that genre. For me my favouite genre is crime but within that i have a whole shelf of Japanese crime novels. Anyone has a very specifc group of books you will always buy?

People always ask, if you could read a book for the first time again what would it be? But what they don't ask is which book do you wish you never read? As in, it was so bad you could only hope to forget it ever existed.
