  • Your Favourite Reading Getaway Spots

    Hey Everyone,

I'm thinking of treating myself to a reading getaway later this year and I've got decision paralysis about what the vibe of the getaway should be. Do I want a little cabin in the woods for a little hiking action, an all-inclusive resort to be pampered, a beachside condo to reconnect with the ocean, a busy metropolitan so I can visit museums during the day? Too many options, help 😭!

Where are your favourite reading getaways and why?

Some of these stories and poems really spoke to me, to my past and to the justice I wish I'd had. Other stories and poems were entertaining, but missed the mark for me. All together, they were an entertaining collection, and not what I'm used to reading in the sense they're meant to weave an overall story or theme. It's worth checking out if you want something a bit different.

  • ACOTAR 6 on Libby

My library added the audiobook for ACOTAR 6 on Libby and it allowed me to place a hold 😮😭💗 I needed to share with people who would appreciate this news

The e-audio & e-books for both books 6 and 7 are showing up in the catalogue (at least for me — you may need to click “deep search” at the bottom after searching for the author, or click on the series for ACOTAR). Just a tip to click “notify me” to get a push notification whenever your library adds the titles so you can get on the waitlist early!!

  • Badge surprise

Anyone here still get surprise that you earned a badge? or is it just me? I'll preface that I don't read for the badges, I see quests and readalongs as carefully curated tbrs. It's why I joined a lot of quests. that being said, some books are present in multiple quests that whenever I finished one book I get surprised everytime a notif said that I earned a badge. I know they're a thing, that I find myself laughing at me for getting surprise everytime. Anyone same?

  • ‘Interested’ vs ‘TBR’

    Hey gang 👋

Just curious how everyone uses the ‘interested’ feature on here, as it feels like a really cool difference from other book apps.

Do you mark a book as ‘interested’ if you don’t own it and ‘TBR’ if you do? Is ‘interested’ a lesser level of curiosity/urgency whereas ‘TBR’ is more about things you want to get to asap? Or is ‘interested’ a book you’ve heard about and it gets moved to ‘TBR’ once you’ve researched it?

I don’t think there’s a right answer, I’m just ‘interested’ to hear what you all think/gain some inspo about how to use this cool feature! 😊🌟
