The only thing I know about Frankenstein is that Frankenstein is the doctor and not the monster, but also that Frankenstein is the monster. So I'm going into this one with maybe 2% of knowledge and the other 98% is just vibes and every single media that was inspired by this book.
I hope I have as good a time as I did with Dracula đ€đŸđ€đŸ

I think this one needs to go in the âlittle lifeâ category. It is so unbelievably heartbreaking to me as someone who feels deeply about their childhood friendships. Itâs almost too sad right now so I think im pausing until I feel emotionally ready

The story is great. I love the way things are described, the writing style isnât too childish and it isnât full of ridiculous words to the point of illegibility. Great, great, great. HOWEVER. Whoever did the editing mustâve been entirely unaffected by the idea of using the same word multiple times in a paragraph, seeing how often it happens. Sadly, thatâs one of my pet peeves. I think it makes the writing sound amateur. Saying âbarnâ three times in two sentences is a little much. âWaterâ three in three. This is very very far from an amateur novel! The author is well-liked and the book itself is well-known. The writing is generally very great! I am not a published author, nor am I an editor, so I canât really say much on the subject. Itâs just that one itty bitty little thing that bothers me a lot more than it shouldâŠ
