A fantasy universe created by Sir Terry Pratchett, Discworld is a flat planet balanced on the backs of four elephants, which in turn stand on the back of a giant turtle. These are comedic novels that parody traditional fantasy tropes. All books can be read as standalones.

I enjoyed the hell out of this one. every single scene with either of the 3 witches in was pure perfection. the scenes completely without them felt largely unnecessary and too drawn out but honestly I just love the rest of it so much that I'm willing to look past it. The plot was the most exciting among the witches series so far and the character development among the witches was impeccable. I love those 3 from the bottom of my heart

why are there such long scenes with men in my witch book. It might be blasphemic to discworld fans but I really haven't been able to warm up to the wizards.. and they're in pretty much every book now and it annoys me.

this was one of the most interesting and unique reads of my life. some parts where a bit too detailed and felt unnecessary but a lot of it, in a scary way, felt like someone had put a secret camera in my brain and was broadcasting its contents into this book. the writing style is very flowery and exaggerated but in a way that works and isn't cringe like this type of writing often tends to be. overall I enjoyed it.
