  • cozy series suggestion: Beaufort Scales by Kim M. Watt

if you're in the mood for a low-stakes mystery, but with a sprinkle of fantasy, may I suggest the Beaufort Scales series? set in a small English village, featuring a cast of retired ladies with a knack for baking and the friendliest little dragons, these books a delightful read. highly recommend reading with a slice of cake and a cup of tea!

  • Which cozy fantasy first captured your heart?

Hi friends! I'd love to know - which book do you consider your cozy fantasy first love that piqued your interest in the genre?

For me, I think House in the Cerulean Sea was the first time I read cozy fantasy, but The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches was when I realized there's a whole genre to explore (which even contains books much cozier than either of those two!)

Rec: The Incandescent, by Emily Tesh

I absolutely adored this book - a dark magic-academia novel but the students aren't the main characters! A queer female lead, magic and demons, I devoured this one, and would love to hear others' thoughts on it!
