the title of this list is loosely inspired by the sgrean bookstagrammer @ohomatopoeia's super cool phd thesis on interstitial cities, but i expanded it to include hidden and 'alternate' histories as well. recommendations are very welcome, especially from my fellow sgreans!

oh what a mood!! tbh i can think of no better love letter to this small city of ours than to write a novel that creates little pockets of space within the city and its history, so the love letter is both from me and from these authors to our city
that makes it all so much better. i’m very excited to be able to read about that love. <3
