Books with short chapters!!! I started a challenge where I read a super long book a chapter-a-day and annotate it using a study guide! I found that annotating short chapters is super accessible and not overwhelming at all for me, so I wanted to share this list with anyone that wants to start over-analyzing their books :) I included a variety of stories because HOW you read is as important (if not more) than WHAT you read!!!!

Not sure what you mean by super long books. But I just read Moutain Boss by S.J. Tilly, my copy was 526 pages, and had super short chapters some were under a page. In case you want to analyze some smutty content 😆
the books on the list don't have to be super long, that's just a preference of mine hehehe but i'll definitely had it :3
all recs and annoting/analyzing tips are welcome!!! just remember to be respectful.......or i'll haunt you forever 👻
also, for those who want to start annotating, you don't need a physical copy to annotate books!!! You can listen to an audiobook and take notes on a notebook or a paper on the side! The goal is to think about what you read and analyze the words/themes/intonations of the narrator/ponctuations/etc.
ps.: I usually use Litcharts for study guides, they have almost all the classics and some newer books too :)
ooooh i love this idea!! i have a copy of les mis that i've been putting off for forever now but maybe now 👀
les misérables is a GREAT classic!!! you can try the audiobook + physical copy, it's free on Librivox :)))
omg brb 🏃♀️💨💨💨
Lost Gods by Brom has REALLY short chapters! Some of them were only a page or two long lol. It was so easy to get through because of it!
i'll add it to the list 🫡
The Corruption of Hollis Brown! The longest chapter was like 4 pages
🫡 adding right now....
I'm currently reading Clear by Carys Davies which has very short chapters. It's also a short book -- over 40 chapters in just under 200 pages!
thank you! i'll add it right away :))
