Thank you! Saving Time is one I haven’t read yet myself. I really enjoyed How to Do Nothing by her though, so I’m excited to pick that one up too (and relieved to hear it does fit 😅)!
Saving Time was a book that changed my whole life I think. A big part of my radicalization. 🙂↕️
I'll read anything Jenny Odell publishes tbh, I loved both Saving Time and How to Do Nothing. I definitely want to reread Saving Time at some point 🙂↕️

Thank you so much! It was inspired by chapter 7 in How to Go Mad without Losing Your Mind “Songs in Madtime: Black Music, Madness, and Metaphysical Syncopation” where the author explores various “mad times” through the lens of different Black art. (I thought this book was incredible and so full of generative ideas.) And then, just now, it also came up in my current read Refusing Compulsory Sexuality where the author uses the term “chrononormativity”, which also seems like such a useful concept.
Love that you shared this backstory, it makes whole concept more interesting. I’m def curious to explore these ideas further.
