These are books collected from various reading lists created by Volkova associated with her novel, Games: A Love Story. I'd ask that any recommendations made come from lists or recommendations she'd made that I've missed.
Games references a lot of very large ideas that are frequently foundational, hidden, or taken without examination in our modern cultural psyche. Oh man, yeah! Volkova luckily has given us notes and included a fair number either directly in the text or in her acknowledgements. I'm hoping we get more fiction recommendations at some point!
