SOFT SCIENCE MENTION YEAAAAAS

Adding it to my tbr just for you bees 🫶

franny choi is one of my favorite poets of all time!! i really really really hope you enjoy!!!
I hope so too! I don't read much from poets but I'm starting to read more! I recently bought my parents poetry written in Punjabi and one of them was about grief and the simplicity of sharing chai. Bees, I cried when my mom read it to me. I'm a sucker for sad feelings. What should I read by Choi after Soft Science, if you don't mind sharing a rec?
oh sharky 🫂 that sounds so beautiful and delightful and wonderful moment to share with your mother!! what poetry collection? i would love to find a translation if possible!!
and the newest choi poetry collection is called the world keeps ending, and the world goes on which is heavily influenced (and written during) the covid-19 pandemic and also tackles some ecological philosophies!! other chapbooks (shorter, more compact poetry collections) they've written are death by sex machine (largely consumed into soft science) and floating, brilliant, gone i also HIGHLY recommend poetry by their partner cameron awkward-rich!!!
Ok I added it to my TBR, gotta see what inspires this level of Bees enthusiasm 😊
hehe yay!!! i really hope you enjoy it 🌵
another EXCELLENT list
