I mean I feel like this one is pretty self explanatory. cannibalism that happened in real life NOT true crime (mostly)

ha I have no idea what you're implying kittytornado 😺 🌪️
Love this 😍
Just like your username, this list, once again, eats (figuratively and literally in the books) 😂
Real cannibals…
Awesome. The perfect nightmare fuel. Thank you. I say this respectfully and sarcastically 😑
But also…why can’t I fricken look away. 👀
I saw the Wager on this list, and recently it popped up on my audiobook app and I was thinking of giving it a listen (it sounds interesting), so I figured it couldn't hurt to ask - would you recommend reading this book?

i actually don't know! There's a few books on this list I haven't read yet, and The Wager is one of them. I know it's very popular, and Grann wrote Killers of the Flower Moon (i believe) which is very highly regarded.
I have read In The Heart of the Sea, though, which is about a different shipwreck. I can definitely recommend that one!

context for this list: an educated cannibal is an ethical cannibal. these are non-fiction books that have cannibalism in them. on this list you will find survival stories, anthropological studies, informative anthologies, historical non-fiction, and political writings that explore the cultural relevance of anthropophagy. you will notice there is not a lot of true crime on this list as i typically do not read that genre. also, i have curated this list to include books i own/have read, or at least books that contain the most accurate and recent information on a given subject.
