wholesome books with ZERO romance
books that just feel like a warm hug after a long day, but don't have romance subplots :) funny, cute, engaging - they have it all. but no kissing (forehead kisses are always welcomed, of course)

Oo, thank you for this list! I don't mind romance in general but it's nice to have some titles that I know won't dip in that direction.
Question because I can't remember very well - The Teller of Small Fortunes does have a small romance subplot between the side characters, though, doesn't it? There's like a whole bar room drama scene?
Yeah I think the C plot is a side romance between two of the crew. Not sure if this counts as a no-romance book, but it’s definitely never with the main character, so it depends on your definition

i adore this book! it's so good but isn't there a slight romance between two main characters? i read it some time ago but i remember that there was something like that
It's only a kiss on the forehead. Personally, I only saw them as platonic or maybe i'm just romantically oblivious lol
