Ooh, exciting!! I have read 2 on this list, but a handful are already on my terms, ill have to start looking for copies.
Nice, which ones have you read/want to read?
My mom would only let me read from the YA section of the library (exceptions made for stuff like Agatha Christie) which was the funniest thing of all time because I was reading like nonstop teens losing their faith, lesbians hooking up in the school bathroom, kids dealing meth and helping their friends detox, all kinds of shit. And it all flew perfectly under the radar :)
So: I've read several of these, but not all! There's a bunch more I'm interested in
Second time through the list- I've read 4. My Basmati Bat Mitzvah, Rapture of Canaan, Love, Hate, & Other Filters, and The Miseducation of Cameron Post.
Already on my tbr: Deliver us From Evie, Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit (this is YA?????) The Serpent King Poet X (started a couple times) A Girl like That Heretics Anonymous The Sacred Lies of Minnow Bly Quiver
Cool, I've only read a couple of those so far! If you pick them up, I'm curious to hear what you think of them...
Re: Oranges...I believe so?? It's definitely coming-of-age. I feel like the delineation between YA and adult has sometimes been more porous depending on the book but I also think YA used to be written at a more mature level than it is today, broadly speaking
