With the trailer finally out, I feel like we can start forming some opinions on the new show. I personally am liking what I've seen of the cast so far, I think the trailer looked excellent, and I am excited for the show! What do you Harry Potter fans out there think?

I am blessed to live in a neighborhood with many different kinds of trees, including weeping willows and different kinds of cherry trees… But I did not know that a “weeping cherry tree” existed. I’m so glad I do now thanks to this book! 🤩

ACTUALLY 🤓☝️
Tears DO have a scientific explanation Tris.
You’re talking about basal and reflex tears (triggered by smoke etc OR produced 24/7 to protect & moisture the eyeball)
The emotional tears contain stress chemicals, so you literally flush your “emotions” out of your body. Crying affects the parasympathetic nervous system, which helps the body calm down.
The amygdala (brain part) processes the emotion ➡️ Signals go to the hypothalamus, which controls the autonomic nervous system ➡️ Nerve signals activate the lacrimal glands above the eyes ➡️ You cry

Erin is pulling no punches! I’m only a handful of chapters in and just as invested as I was with The Betrayal of Eden. I’m also finding it very easy to get into despite it having been a year since I read the first book! Kudos to you for that, Erin 👏🏼
