As a fan of both learning about weather and Laura Ingalls Wilder this book was phenomenal! Even if you don't know anything about weather patterns the author describes them and their processes very simply. I've been recommending this book to so many people.

I just saw this in an Aardvark email and my jaw literally hit the floor. I’m not usually the pearl clutching type, but to put an image of a man beheading a woman on a book titled “Dear Monica Lewinsky” was… shocking.
After reading the blurb (clearly satirical, magical realism with patron saint Monica) I get what they ’re doing with the imagery. But without that context??
Curious about other opinions. Is this distasteful shock marketing capitalizing off violence against “disliked” women, or is this clever witty satire?

I also thought the cover was perfect considering how Monica was treated. I also think that shocking was the point (and not in a distasteful way). Monica was socially "beheaded" as many women who fell out of favor with powerful men, and this cover draws you in and makes you think about your own opinions on Monica and about what this book might be about.
