I really enjoyed this book. The author manages to balance several difficult elements very successfully: multiple characters and perspectives, complicated concepts that could be boring or over-explained, timeline shifts, romance, action, etc.
There are many things about forgetting your life that could be horrifying, but I think the author makes a really smart choice by focusing on the deepest fear of all: forgetting and being forgotten by those you love. The relationship between Marie and Adam gives this book so much heart and humanity that I think a lesser author would overlook in pursuit of cool sci-fi tech shit.
I'll be thinking about this book for a while.
