The author uses so many adjectives and metaphors that it’s a chore to get through a single sentence. There’s some beautiful imagery, but I find myself having to re-read sections because there’s so much description I get lost

constanta has mentioned a few times now about how head over heels she was for dracula almost immediately after she's turned. so far, i'm not seeing any real explanation for why she was so quick to love him, and it doesn't seem like it's just a side-effect of being turned since it doesn't seem like dracula was in love with his "sire" in any way. is there ever an actual reason provided for this or is it just like a "you just have to accept it" kinda thing? because it's lowkey off putting for me lol

Anyone hear seen the TV show What We Do In The Shadows??

It’s my favorite show, and at the mention of a vampire and multiple brides, I can only think of the episode where Nandor wishes to have all his wives back, then goes through one by one to choose his favorite 😂
