Anne is really this ray of sun which warms my heart as I read her letters and her story. We are in May. The weather is gloomy and I feel a little cold in my room while trying to study. But as I read this book, I'm no longer here. I am by her side in his tower-room near the fire. It feels whimsical - it is the first time I'm using this word but it feels right here - and it makes me pause. Like just taking a moment to appreciate the present. Oh how I love this story.

I somehow missed this series in my intense middle grade reading years, but I’ve heard a lot about it, especially with the show coming, so I’m excited!

Hello everyone. My sister @roserayne passed away recently.
Can you guys suggest books about sisters and dealing with the loss of a sister?
Thank you.

Hi fellow non-English speakers, I have been thinking about this, since I'm currently reading a book out my own language. I always prefer to read fantasy in English BUT I don't mind reading other genres in my language. It's actually kind of weird, idk why it appeals me more to read fantasy in English. It's not that I won't read it in my language it's just that I prefer reading it in English.
Do you feel the same? Do you have a genre you absolutely love to read in English or do you just mostly read the books in your language?

The illustration is by Midori Kusano. And is marvelous, enchanting, beautiful. You HAVE TO see it and contemplate it! Here the link to the cover : https://www.instagram.com/p/CYluxQLvZ71/?igsh=c2Z5eXhiOHhnMGpv
This artist also made all the other covers of Anne's books in la collection de Monsieur Toussaint Laventure (2022). And they are also so beautiful...
Edit : here is the illustration for this book!!! Thank you @aoitsuki !!

As the 2 previous books, it only gets interesting with part 2. I enjoyed meeting those 2 new little characters but it was "boring" the way it was narrated. Still an easy read too.
The twist was mind blowing though. Even though I was so scared that it was going to be darker. Or atleast what was told was not darker. I mean it already is dark.
Also one thing that I didn't really like is that those books are considering that a trait of charcater is transmit from a parent to their child. Which is not entirely the case. It's not because you father - with who you have lived with or not - behave/react this way that you will... but here Millie is always like "oh I didnt get this from my mom so maybe its from my dad or even those grand-parents I didnt know"...
