Okay I need to talk to someone about this! I was just on my mental health walk of the day✌🏼 and the song Davy Crochet by The Backseat Lovers came on. I’ve definitely thought about it before, but this song is literally like the cutest concept for a romance book! Basically in the chorus they sing: “I’ll teach you how to laugh, if you’ll teach me crochet” and I’m dyingggg! If anyone has any recs that are wholesome like this song I would LOVE to read them! Thanks in advance lol<3

A rather short chapter with only one "Old Sport" I don't much care for Tom, I must say. That take is about as hot as an ice cube, I'm sure, but he's still quite a prick.

I've recently been getting into the Youtube ambience videos when I read. I try to match the vibe to the book and I found it helps me get better immersed! I usually can't have anything playing with words (songs, TV, movies, etc.) but sometimes I will for the "less-involved" books. I can definitely read in silence but background/white noise helps me stay focused!

Besides KU, Libby and Hoopla, where do you get/borrow your books? I think I'm 100% done with Amazon. My only problem is some of the books I like to read are not available on Libby and Hoopla that's why I stuck with KU. I would love to buy the physical book but my wallet can't afford it. 🥲

There is a made for the movies quest here which made me think of books we wish were movies but are not and so i am curious to hear your picks. Please mention why as well.

There are a lot of questions about book recommendations or favorites, but what is the book(s) you absolutely feel repulsed by whenever you see it? Just want to add: i know everyone has their own tastes and that does not mean if one hated the book the other shouldn't has terrible taste, it is the matter of personal opinion. What doesn't sit well with me might be perfect for you :) this is just for fun and to know you all a lot better

This is for predominantly readers of ebooks, or audiobook listeners, or even heavy library users. If you read an ebook, audiobook, or library book and LOVE it, will you buy the physical book to have on your shelf as a "book trophy?"

I always feel guilty when I DNF a book. I used to power through and end up in a reading slump for a longgggggggg while but then realized I can... just... stop reading it. I still have trouble DNFing books so I'll likely pick them back up again and hope it's better but usually isn't and I end up in the same cycle again. If you do DNF, do you feel guilty?

Does anyone know how to see the thresholds for the levels? I’ve been told it says in the FAQ, but it doesn’t say anything about how many points you will need to level up in there?!??!
