How do you pull yourself away from PB? Or are you not supposed to ever?

It's been a couple of weeks for me now. The addiction is getting quite out of hand.

The symptoms? -a quick peak turns to two hours -can't stop staring at your new avatar, I even have that same top! -endless yapping -forgetting to eat -when did I last use the ladies'? Yesterday?

I have tried everything: -walks (takes a quick peak while walking, see point above) -begging friends to join PB -other hobbies. Can't remember what they are anymore. Something about collecting dolphin shaped rocks? Not sure. -low and behold, actual reading.

Is anyone else in the grips of this and is there a known cure? What have I gotten myself into?

Audiobook app recs

So I’ve been trying to get into audiobooks and I wanted to know if anyone knows any good audiobook apps. I’m currently using audible and with audible I hate that I have to have credits to listen to a book and can only use that credit to listen to a “free” book so if anyone knows any other app recommendations please let me know. The Tangled Tree: A Radical New History of Life

Science writer David Quammen explains how recent discoveries in molecular biology can change our understanding of evolution and life’s history, with powerful implications for human health and even our own human nature. In the mid-1970s, scientists began using DNA sequences to reexamine the history of all life. Perhaps the most startling discovery to come out of this new field—the study of life’s diversity and relatedness at the molecular level—is horizontal gene transfer (HGT), or the movement of genes across species lines. It turns out that HGT has been widespread and important. For instance, we now know that roughly eight percent of the human genome arrived not through traditional inheritance from directly ancestral forms, but sideways by viral infection—a type of HGT. New Avatars available! [2/11/26]

Hey everyone, small announcement that we've completed our "New Avatars" Roadmap item and just released an additional 33 avatars. Most are new color variants of our existing avatars but we have some brand new characters as well!
