Thank you so much to AtriaBooks for sending me an early digital copy of this book! ❤️
This is my first book by Chelsea Curto and it did not disappoint. I giggled, I kicked my feet, I ate this up and finished it in a day in the half. 🤭
The banter between Quincy and Sebastian’s were off the charts and I laughed out loud so many times. The chemistry was so so good and ugh the way Sebastian yearns and begs for Quincy was just so so good. We love a man who begs.
I love how Chelsea talked about women getting overlooked in many male dominated fields and I loved how the topic was approach. How hard it is for women at times and the weight all women bare. I loved how Sebastian never once was intimidated by how strong she was but uplifted her.
As someone who loves weather this was such a good and fun read and didn’t feel too info dumpy at times. I absolutely highly recommend.

How do I put into words how much of a masterpiece this book is?
Just tattoo this book on my body and call it a day.
Peyton does it again with such a beautiful written story that takes place during the past and present giving us an insight to Bennett and Paloma. No one better come after Paloma, or we will be throwing hands, no one can make me hate her. The whole entire time I was just so ingrained and had to keep reading such a beautiful story between two hurt souls.
Characters:
Bennett, my sweet boy, you are so gentle, caring, the perfection of a man. The way he yearns, had me SCREAMING. Let me give you a list of things he does
Paloma, my tortured soul, at first, I was skeptical of your story, but now how dare I ever doubt you? The girl that comes off mean and cruel but tortures herself. My sweet girl, I love you and cradle you to myself. The trauma she experiences and how she guards herself is done with intent, and the way we go through the story breaking down the walls is done so perfectly, and never once did I feel like it was rush or just random.
I just have to say it again, what a beautiful book, I think about them constantly and I am sad that it is over.
Thank you to Netgalley, Peyton Corrine, and Atria Books for this ARC. Truly one of my favorite reads of the year.
