Post from the What I Know About You forum
I had my doubts about this book (reading it for uni atm), but i genuinely am perplexed at how beautiful this is written and how fluent the reading experience is?

Do you know if people who collect high-valued special editions actually read them? Or are they keepsakes? I know some collectors of rare, valuable baseball cards keep them in protective cases and never touch them with ungloved hands.
I'm asking because I saw a collection that costs almost $2,500. Of course, some go even higher than that. I was thinking how terrible it would be to accidentally damage one of the pages. It seems like reading them would be so stressful. 😬🫣

I thought it would be kind of fun to see where in the world people are, and then folks can make friends with people from the same countries/areas (if they way, not pressure obviously).
I'll go first. I'm Canadian, and more specifically I am in British Columbia (Vancouver Island if you want to get fancy).

I have been seeing a lot of discourse regarding book cover preferences lately. I wonder if anyone has ever gotten the ick from a book cover? If so, did you still read the book, or was it an immediate no thank youuuu?

Ever since I started using Pagebound, I've been thinking of stopping Goodreads, so I'm slowly comparing my two TBR lists to see if I'm missing any books, before fully leaving Goodreads. Has anyone done that as well? Do you think it possible?

I've been getting quite some suggestions for books for this quest, so I thought it might be easier to have a specific place just for suggestions (if you've already commented books, don't worry about it, I've already have them written down and will add them over time 🫶).
Please ensure that the book has a sapphic romance/sapphic main characters that are important to the plot! And don't forget to write both the name and author of the book. Looking forward to your suggestions :)

This book gave me a pure blast of adrenaline. It goes back to classic slasher moves and does original things at the same time and makes it work. I did not have high expectations, but it skyrocketed to the place of one of my favourite books, I fear.
When reading, you're NEVER certain about anything and when you think you are, you should reconsider...
