Hello everyone đ first time posting here!
Soooooo as the title suggests, I'm on a freaking deep reading slump since a couple of months ago. It's like I take a book and try to start it and I just don't continue it, even if I'm really liking it. The last time this happened to me it was Caraval by Stephanie Garber that took me out of this, but now I'm lost.
Can someone recommend me a good, cannot-stop-reading, type of book that could help me start reading again? I seriously want to go back to my babieeees!! đđđđ Everything is welcome, just not so slow paced books for now (nor with a lot of smut), thank you đ„čđ«¶

What book made you fall in love with reading? As a kid I caught the reading bug after reading books by Jacqueline Wilson and the His Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman. As an adult I fell back in love with reading when I discovered romantasy and read Fourth Wing, ACOTAR, and From Blood and Ash.

For October, I'm really in the mood to read something that has a spooky/Halloween vibe to it... But I am a BABY. When I say I want lightly spooky, I mean VERY. FREAKING. LIGHTLY.
Every time I try to read something for Halloween, I end up having nightmares. I want something more serious than Letter to Three Witches but less creepy than House of Cotton.
Anyone have good wimpy Halloween recs??

my husband and i just bought the full Chronicles of Narnia box set (second hand for $12!!) and i'm so excited to read them with him!
context: he is learning english and wanted a novel or novella to help him with reading comprehension. we chose these because while they are for children, they have great vocabulary with easy to follow stories
i'm stoked!
what are your nostalgia books??

Dramatic battles, tense political intrigue, unique world building...and is that maybe some romance I'm sensing? These books are not Romantasy but focus primarily on the SFF elements. Romance is a subplot and may not appear until later in the series, but when it does, you won't be disappointed.
