  • Let's Play a Game! Would you rather...?

Would you rather...cozy up to read on a rainy day, or a snowy day?

Would you rather...read with tasty snacks, or a yummy beverage?

Would you rather...buddy read with a friend, or tackle a book solo?

Has anyone seen the ā€œDeletedā€ profile? This is my second go around on PageBound; I’d tried early on but got overwhelmed with the new book apps at the time, and so I’m seeing my old reviews are still up under that profile. Is there a plan to delete that profile or something so my reviews aren’t showing up twice?

  • Decisions, decisions …

Alright, let’s say you’ve just finished a book and are looking to start the next one. What’s the most unhinged way you’ve gone about choosing your next read? Some folks are mood readers, some go off the cover, or the first line, etc., kinda the standard stuff. But this is Pagebound, and I’m SURE y’all have some silly ones up your sleeves. Wackiest way you’ve picked your next book!

I simply can’t do it anymore. This writing style nor the verbiage is for me. It was crude, sexist, racist, misogynist, and all over bad. The narrator did an okay job; he did some voices and made me somewhat believe I was there. The plot in the beginning was there but didn’t go anywhere with it. The word ā€œbetaā€ was used soo often. I got it the first couple of times. šŸ™„ The character relationships felt very surface level/forced on the reader. If the author was hoping for ragebait, well done. I can’t believe this book was ever green lit for print or release for that matter. h

I can't keep going on this one. I'm just not invested enough and there is too much book left.
