I've been on a mini slump ever since I finished The Strength of the Few (on top of that having to devote my time to my degree ;-;) I wanted to clear my TBR list but my mind has been straying towards the Hierarchy series that it made me wanted to reread it again. I think I enjoyed James Islington's writing (and craving for more of it) so I figured this may be a good time to start the Licanius Trilogy :)

I reread this book this year because I started listening to The Newest Olympian podcast earlier in the year. I first read the series back in 2015 and reread it for the first time in 2018, and after rereading this again I'm amazed at how many details I've missed and forgotten

Debating whether to buy this book on physical or read the strength of the few first and then buy them both together. I also want both on paperback and the second one is not published yet.... Thoughts? Did you like the second book or did you think it was a miss.
