At this point I have to revisit the chapters in spark notes and the YouTube playlist from course hero to really comprehend what's going on. I'm an audiobook listener and I'm finding my mind is wandering off instead of focusing on the story. 😅 It was super captivating up until this point but I will persist.

I am so sick of books masquerading as enemies-to-lovers just because it sells. I know these tropes are just a marketing tactic at this point, but are there books out there that actually keep it alive? For reference, I mean something like The Cruel Prince or even something as lighthearted as You Deserve Each Other. Please try to avoid books that are overtly spicy in nature. Thanks!

Hi all, I know this question isn't book related but since this is an anti-ai platform I was wondering if anyone knows any good Pinterest alternatives. I'm speaking because OpenAI is looking into buying Pinterest and aside from being an AI firm they are also being ultra mega evil and gave $25 million to the Trump administration.
I really love pinterest, I get all of my clothing, book, poetry, fanart, music recommendations from it but I cannot stand the thought of using and OpenAI product. Does anyone have any alternatives?

The audiobook was better (Fantasy/Sci-fi)
A highly unscientific list of Fantasy and Sci-fi books where the audiobook leveled up the experience. I’ve either listened to them or they’ve come highly recommended. Input welcome!

Kill the Beast? Very fun beauty and the beast retelling where its more focused on the friendship then romance.

Dramatic battles, tense political intrigue, unique world building...and is that maybe some romance I'm sensing? These books are not Romantasy but focus primarily on the SFF elements. Romance is a subplot and may not appear until later in the series, but when it does, you won't be disappointed.
