I originally posted this on the Pagebound club, but someone reccommended that I ask here; Should I read The Naturals when I HATED The Inheritance Games? I'm asking because I've seen that some people loved The Naturals but really disliked The Inheritance Games and The Naturals seems to be way more popular in general.

how did michael have such good aim lol? and like 8 shots??💀
i like that he’s being respectful with his place in this love triangle, but also the love triangle is making me cringe 😭 like, it felt so instalovey. why do they even like cassie? i can see why cassie might like them…but what has she done/ added to the group besides case things. like as a friend. idk maybe im being too hard on her but i never understand how this happens. anyways dean and sloane are still my fav. i cannot stand lia or michael 😭 the drama is tiring im too old for this lol
the plot had me on the edge of my seat though. i read this so fast. the twist was so unexpected and while some things felt unrealistic i still enjoyed myself a lot. on to the next one~

Jennifer Lynn Barnes is very skilled at making you work your brain through her characters. The book was intriguing throughout and I never would have anticipated the ending. My one personal dislike would be the inclusion of a somewhat cliche love triangle, in which the love interests are instantly ready to duel on behalf of our heroine (despite only knowing her for a few days and based on whatever deductions of her their minds can conjure). Nonetheless, great read!
