I very rarely reread books. I can name maybe a handful over my lifespan. Mainly, it's because I think a lot of the books I've read and enjoyed would have a different impact if I am at a different point in my life.

Example: a few years ago I reread 13 Reasons Why for a book club, about a decade after the first time reading it. I remember it being really impactful and moving the first time. But the reread was like reading a different book. Instead of sympathizing with the girl, I kept thinking about how selfish she was being.

So, I am pretty much a no on rereading....thoughts?

recently i’ve noticed there are several books just sitting on my tbr not because i’m not in the mood for them, but because i know i absolutely will love them. like i already know i don’t want the story to end so i’m just not starting! if i don’t begin then the possibilities and hype just marinate in my mind forever 🙂‍↕️

at first it had to do with my schedule (i knew i wouldn’t have time to get as wrapped up in the stories as i’d want to) but it’s getting a little ridiculous now so i’ll just ask if anyone else finds themself doing this 🙈

I’m wanting to try doing a yearly reading plan where each month I read a new genre, but I need ideas for genres and for books in those genres! I’m a very speedy reader so the more the better. I’m also looking for slightly more specific genres than just like ‘fantasy’ or something vague like that? Any ideas are appreciated thank you!!

How do you feel about DNF? I’m not liking one rn for a quest I’m in but I’m feeling guilty to DNF. Is it just a me thing?
