Aloha Bookaholics!!
I hope everyone's day is going well ☺️
The question of the day is...
What is your 'comfort read' that you could revisit over and over and over again? 😌

hi everyone !! 🪻 i was looking through my wishlist to plan what im going to read after my current readings, and i noticed that although i like proper series, my mind tends to prioritize standalones or series where books can be read as standalones and out of order (love those). being super self aware, i know it's because i get disengaged/bored very easily and struggle to maintain my interest towards a certain storyline or topic for too long :') so rather than committing to a series and reading one book off it every blue moon, forgetting the plot in the process, id rather pick a book with a story that starts and ends in one go 🐇🌿 i was wondering if anyone has a similar experience when it comes to picking what books to read 👀 do you prefer standalones or series ?? do you also struggle to stay interested/engaged throughout a series or is your attention span better than mine? 😂

having grown up watching and rewatching the show (and i still do it) i can clearly picture David Suchet do and say everything Poirot does and says in the books, which gives reading extra flavour 🤪 and Poirot's takes on the gap between the police/forensic experts and himself are always so hilarious, he knows he's Him™ ‼️

I’m not sure how I feel about all the time jumps? Those that have read this, did you feel the same? Is it something you got used to? The story itself is very intriguing, I just feel like I keep getting thrown off.
