I already know this is gonna be a favourite, alone because of the writing style. It's so freaking descriptive and beautiful 😍

I'm so excited to see that this book contains not only a map but also a glossary and a pronunciation guide. I adore it when authors (and publishers) put proper effort into details that go beyond the text itself. The same goes for the chapter headers, the dedication page (plus the dedication itself), and the dividers.
So far, I've only skimmed the glossary, as I am worried it might spoil some plot points, but if anyone thinks I should take a closer look at it before I start reading, please let me know!

i’m reading this for the first time as a buddy read with my sister :D
this series, in many ways, has been in my life for as long as i can remember (my mom has cherished it and ALWAYS had the movies on while i was growing up,) but i’m so eager to experience this world on my own alongside my best friend <3
