Why does the Nightmare remind me of Tairn? He sounds like a sassy, grumpy old know it all hahaha

Tsk tsk. A little judgy, my dear.
Very much appreciate the Nightmare’s sass though. ”Not exactly princess material, are we” 😂

Oh, okayyyyyyyyy. I am LOVING the vibes of this book, so far. I just DNF'd a terrible book, and finished a bad one. I'm crossing my fingers and toes that this remains solid!

Kay, I'm over waiting for this to get good. Vincent and Matilda are so boring. They still seem like children to me, and the battle seems like small potatoes. It's a small fight, nothing that will affect the world as we know it. I'm moving on.

I read this in 2023, and LOVED it. I was, however, at the beginning of my romance book journey. I've since read so many AMAZING romance books that this now falls flat. Poppy is a glorified blow up doll, and has zero personality, and Tyler, priests can date AND marry. This entire book is unnecessary.
** PASTORS can date and marry. Catholic priests cannot, so i guess Tyler's personality trait holds up.
