The Cat who Saved Books is a beautifully written (and translated) love letter to books and the mysterious creatures that are cats. Yes, perhaps it is a little snobby, but I took the book’s message to mean it’s not important want you read, but why you read it…but maybe take the time to pick up something challenging once in a while and focus less on the efficiency of reading and more on the joy of it.
