Guys iam giving up 😭 I just don't understand enough and the story is so sloww

Am I the only one that feels bad giving negative reviews? Or just speaking negatively about a book in general.

I am currently reading a book that isn't "hitting it" for me. And I have decided to be honest here on this app about it, instead of just pretending I never read it like i used to do 🙈

But alas, I am left feeling slightly bad after posting or commenting about it.. cuz I am sure its SOMEONE'S favourite. And I doubt its nice to see shit about your fav book like that. Or worse. The authors are people too, what if they see it XD

i’ve wanted to start making myself write reviews of the books i read for a while now, mostly just because i think taking a minute to personally reflect would make the books stick in my memory better (i have a sometimes frustratingly bad memory). but i’m not a very good writer of anything and i find myself getting anxious when i think about writing a review. i don’t know exactly why! i think maybe i’m a little self-conscious about not being able to articulate my thoughts well enough? or maybe i’m nervous to be discovered as someone who doesn’t think deeply enough abt what they read (secret fear) if i post my reviews somewhere public like PB? i don’t know exactly, but i want to write reviews, and i want to share my thoughts and discuss them with other people, i just get so nervous about it. does anyone else feel like this? does anyone have any tips for writing reviews or getting over this feeling? i feel untrained lol

Why is everyone called the same???

Im so confused why everybody loves this book. I genuinely dislike it so much. The author only tells stuff i already know and which is so obvious. Yes of course capitalism sucks and we should share everything, you dont have to write a book about it.
