I knew this was a cozy fantasy but after a VERY slow start I wasn’t sure this was going to be for me. But thankfully around 20% in, the world starts to open up and is filled with fairytale and folklore adventures with fae which were fun and enjoyable! Well written and includes a hint of romance!

This was exactly what I was hoping for a contemporary lit novel. So well written and moving, the characters were so real and from the first chapter I felt like I knew their makeups. Would recommend to anyone!

Ngl the premise to this book sounded a little shaky to me, but two chapters in and I was sold. It’s the same vibes as Butcher & Blackbird which was my favorite book of the Ruinous Love trilogy, and I like how it seems that we’re going to stick with the same couple for this whole series. I’m definitely excited for book 2 after that plot twist at the end!!
