The lottery was my first shirley jackson piece to read and i remember how chilling it was to read it..... this graphic book is good but I think the suspense in the short story was much more thrilling.

I've tried reading this book since 2019 and just cannot seem to finish it... the premise is interesting and it kept me hooked while I was reading, but each time I put the book down it's just so hard for me to pick it up again.... 🥲

It's a good starter for someone who was in a long reading slump. It kept me hooked until the very last page.

a very intriguing book. i wanted to continue reading this while commuting so I'm also listening to it through the audiobook ver. and honestly this book is one of the best books to listen to in the audiobook ver. as well. got me gasping several times while i was trudging through the tiring congestion lol
