What was the lesson or moral we were supposed to get from this book? All I "learned" was that it's hard to parent a child with autism and that people with autism think differently. Both of which I already knew. What did you guys get out of this book?

It's so exciting that PB has over 100,000 users now! 💃💖🥳
However, with so many newbies, there comes a lot of Club posts for "how do I do ____" despite a lot of these instructions being clear in the Guidelines and FAQ.
Obviously there will always be some specific questions which are absolutely justifiable, but maybe as a way to mitigate the obvious ones that are already answered by the Guidelines and FAQ we could have a pretty PB badge to motivate people to read them (similar to getting a gold star on your homework) 🌟

Two things that have pulled me out of the book a bit is Paige saying she’s going to “sanitize” her earring rather then ‘clean’ it. Unless she has an autoclave she’s not going to be sanitizing it just cleaning it. As well as Paige who is supposed to be a true crime fan has never heard of ‘satanic panic’, it just seems like an off disconnect in what her interests are and what her knowledge is.
Other then those two things the book has been interesting and over all decent

i am currently reading “this is how you lose the time war” by amal el-mohtar and max gladstone. and i am really liking it so far.
i was curious on the fact that there was two writers and i wanted to see how that worked so i did some googling and i came across this on wikipedia:
“Red's letters were written entirely by Gladstone, and Blue's by El-Mohtar. Although they wrote a general outline beforehand, "the reactions of each character were developed with a genuine element of surprise on receiving each letter, and the scenes accompanying [the letters] were written using that emotional response".”
i absolutely loved this! so do you know of any other books that are written with an “unconventional” process if that makes sense? or even written in an “unconventional” way?
