I realized I haven’t organized and updated my e-library in a bit. I plan this for the weekend and am already looking forward to it so much!! Not sure if I’m the only one 🤭
I get a lot of happiness of seeing my books on a digital shelf (Especially as I don’t have the space for physical copies 🫠)…
Happy weekend 🤗

How do y'all feel about users who post only quotes from the book in the forum, without adding any of their own thoughts? I find it kind of irritating, but I'm very willing to be in the minority about that. (To be clear, I post quotes from books all the time, but it's to show exactly where I'm at in the book, and then to talk about whatever the quote is.) My initial reaction is to upvote it, because it's usually a great quote, but then I realize that it's not really adding anything to the conversation about the book. So then I think about down voting it, but that makes me feel like kind of a jerk. Thoughts? Like I said, I'm willing to be wrong about this, so I'm open to why anyone feels like it's great.

We made it yay! it's friday (for most North/South America folks)
I hope everyone had a wonderful week, and if you had a hard time, you are seen and I feel you friend.
Now that being said, what is the most Freaky (unhinged, creepy, weird) Feral, and/or Funniest Read you read this week!?
For Funniest book this week was The Spellshop for the Fall Readalong. I had a good time laughing

I already kinda noticed this with the other books but does the story of each sibling overlap? Like, the next book isn't necessarily what happens next? because I'm like what do you mean Eloise????

"Tell them that you'll accept their regret," Nyx hissed. "But only if they give you a sexual favor. Woman's choice." I looked longingly at the gun.

I am still debating if I should dnf this. I knew it was cozy and that's actually not the problem... I just can't stand the writing style.

gah i can't decide how i feel about the humor/internal monologue/writing style in this book. it's funny but the asides are starting to feel a little overboard

Hi pagebound friends, I've been having a lot of tendon-related pain in my wrists and thumbs (just diagnosed as de quervain's if anyone else is familiar) and now I have to wear braces on both hands for a month. Any advice on making reading easier on myself with limited hand mobility? Or for making it more friendly to an angry set of tendons even when I'm not in the braces? I have physical books and a kindle with a basic folding case on it as options. Thanks!

Would anyone be interested in joining an online book club? I was thinking it could be fun to get a group together to select a book for monthly or so readings and discussions. Let me know your thoughts! Or if you've been in a book club, what did you like and what didn't you like?

Hey everyone!
I am posting this here because I could not think of a better place to post this.
I have come across many posts since being on this app, and I am refreshed to see not only the overwhelming lack of negativity that is widespread in social media, but kindness and positivity.
I am incredibly delighted to have seen the kindness within the community and wish to sincerely thank those who have participated in creating this positive community in addition to, of course, the wonderful creators of this platform.
I am incredibly proud of the grace, kindness and empathy I have seen within many of you. You have proven that it is possible to have productive discourse surrounding literature while remaining kind and empathetic human beings.
I am glad that this space can serve as an inclusive, safe space for people.
**To bring further positivity to the platform, I end this post with a request that you share the aspects of the app and the community that have delighted you, if you would like, in order to share the positivity **
