Just finished and loved it, but I was curious about tandem reading the next two. I’ve heard mixed opinions about whether to do so or not. Id love any advice :)

The introduction has already been super interesting and moving with talking about who/what really is family and what really is history and how different written vs lived history is. Excited to keep reading!

3.5/5 stars. I thought this was a pretty good story and I did get sucked in pretty quickly. However, I found Kirby's character really immature at times. She started off as a great character but once Esme was introduced I found she became really immature and stupid in a lot of ways. I think it would have been nice to get out of her head a bit and get another pov.
I also didn't like the "TikTok" language used throughout (like "unalived" instead of killed). Or how much emphasis there was on older people saying how awful and stupid younger people were. That was just annoying and unnecessary. Like once or twice is fine but it happened a lot.
