overall and enjoyable journey through a forest where we encounter some unique grimm’s fariytales retellings. while this book is not perfect, i had fun along the way and am excited to read the next book.

i thought this was a solid debut novel. the hockey is accurate (much appreciated as a hockey fan that likes to read hockey romance) but i found the characters hard to root for. the good parts of this book were phenomenal but the bad parts were truly terrible. overall i had a solidly enjoyable reading experience and i hope to see lexi wrote more books and improve as an author.
