I know this book was huge on booktok but this book overall fell flat for me. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVED the ending. I loved Marcellus. But I feel like there was sooooo much fluff to this book. I never wanted to DNF this book, but there were definitely a lot of boring parts that I just wanted to fast forward through.

This was such an interesting read for me. Definitely out of my normal picks, but I still enjoyed this book. The storyline is so unique and I loved how the narration made me feel like I was on FaceTime with the FMC. A little slow for me personally, but still good and perfect for spooky season.

This book was alright. It was good. For the first half of the book, I was hooked. But the second half of the book fell flat for me. I thought it was a really sweet story and I enjoyed it, but the book as a whole was just average feeling.

Guys…. This book is so conflicting to me. This book definitely lived up to being dark romance. For me, this book was insane but I couldn’t put it down. I love it and hate it simultaneously. I think Zade is CRINGY AS HECK I’m sorry lololol. But the storyline and plot twists had my jaw on the floor.

I enjoyed this book while also having no idea what was going on in this book (to some extent). I thought the storyline was very unique which was refreshing for me. I loved the characters and how so many individual stories and side quests intertwined.

I was influenced by booktok to read this book and it fell flat for me personally. The beginning and ending are good, but the core of the book felt boring in some places and fluffy. I liked the concept and characters, but I think this book could have been edited.

THIS BOOK DESERVES ALL THE HYPE!!!! Wowowowow I could not put this down at all. I will say that the first three chapters were kind of slow, but it didn’t ruin it for me. The ending was the ultimate cliff hanger but wow.

Another Kristen Hannah book that did not disappoint. I loved the character development and twists. Only reason it isn’t a 5 star is because so far The Great Alone by Kristen Hannah is my favorite and this book didn’t top that!
