This was such a joy to read. Absolutely felt like I was dropped in the middle of this world to fend for myself with absolutely no context whatsoever, however reading Piranesi’s journals and discovering the secrets within the Halls alongside him was such a treasure. I’ve never been more happily confused by a book.

Piranesi was also such an endearing character from beginning to end. I won’t forget him.
