"A mule trusts a mule. Always watching a gnole, always deciding if a gnole is right or wrong. And if a mule decides a gnole is wrong..." He slapped the mule's flank, half-affectionate, half-annoyed. "Hard to explain things to a mule. Not good with diagrams." Clara snickered.
What kind of diagrams are we talking about here?
I fear this is going to bother me until we find out ā assuming Brindle will be so kind as to explain š«

I find it refreshing to read about a FMC who is tall, brilliant, and capable, rather than the usual short and small portrayal.

A smile slowly broke across his face. "Well, then. If you do not mind the company while you work...?"
He reached into his pack and pulled out a ball of finely spun yarn, with needles already stuck into it. "I don't suppose you might need another pair of socks?"
Ughhh, Stephen, yes, I would love some socks you silly goose ā¤ļøš§¦ā¤ļø

Iāve been reading a lot of serious books lately, and with everything going on in the world, Iāve been feeling pretty meh.
So0o, Iām looking for books that will pull me out of this slump and make me laugh.
What was the last book that brought you pure joyāwhether it had you laughing out loud, giggling and kicking your feet, or squealing with excitement?
Mine were: ⢠Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac ā Leonās humor is delightfully unhinged and chaotic in the best way. ⢠Blood of Hercules ā Alexisās self-deprecating, sarcastic inner dialogue had me laughing out loud.

"All women are beautiful," said Istvhan, dismissing this. "It is the job of their lovers to make them feel that way if they do not already."
Um, I think Iām in love with this fictional man. š„°
