I've been seeing this book everywhere recently and thought it looked cool so I added it to my tbr but whenever I read the synopsis it flies right out my head five minutes later. I have a feeling it's worth the hype but somebody please motivate me to read this (without spoiling)

Neal Shusterman confirmed we're getting a scythe prequel series (I know there's a title, Rising Thunder but I don't know if that's the name of the series or the first book) which will hopefully be out next year. We are SO BACK

I went into this book pretty much blind and so far it's a bit slow but I love the pockets of whimsical academia and I always eat up secret society stuff, does anyone else know more books like that?
