Man there's a lot of Mollie haters in this forum but if you take a step back and think about that it's not a child's place to beg their parent to be around. It's not a child's responsibility to make the first move and to continue reaching out. Maybe when they're both adults but at least until they're 18 that is the parents' job. I'm a big believer in 'If they wanted to, they would'. And are you telling me that the dad couldn't get any of his workers to fill in for him so he could go to a high school graduation? Or show up once in a while?
