I finally picked up Normal People after a couple of years that it spent in my tbr pile next to my bed and I quite enjoyed it. But before I started reading I gave my copy to my mum. When I asked what it was like her exact words were “sometimes I had to close it when they were particularly stupid.” 😂 I was a bit horrified (got myself another copy) and finished the book in couple of days… I really enjoyed it but in hindsight I should read the books I recommend 🤷♀️ Also reading it in Dublin really gave it a special vibe 🥰
