3.13/5 | Not a single likeable character in sight, plus it’s a thriller — two things I usually avoid like the plague. That’s exactly why I’m so surprised how much I enjoyed it; despite the infidelity, toxic masculinity, superiority complex, and generally toxic behavior and relationships, the book still managed to win me over. Since I’m not a fan of the genre in general, I didn’t have high expectations regarding plot twists or suspense building, which I think worked to my advantage in this case.
